Why subscribe?

Entertainment + Tech is a weekly newsletter about how the entertainment world is changing as tech becomes a bigger presence there - in distribution, in production, in new content media, and more. This newsletter is created by Matt Susskind, a former Google PM who left to work in the film industry.

Tech has often been about scale & platforms. Entertainment has often been about unique, curated risks. In some ways, the overlap has opened up incredible doors. In some ways, it’s caused major issues. Each week, Entertainment + Tech will explore some changing facet of the industry. The goal is that it serves as the starting point for a conversation, giving you a foothold on some interesting ideas that you can build off of yourself.

I’d love to see more tech people dive into a deeper understanding of entertainment. We need more people who stand in both worlds if we’re going to build great products & create great content.
